SCHOOL LECTURES

CC is available periodically to speak to schools on a number of subjects:  The new presentation is titled: Marsh Mission Capturing the Vanishing Wetlands.

Other subjects:   Alligators:  Prehistoric Monsters or Citizens of the Wetlands, Louisiana Nature, Voyage on the Mississippi, Nature Photography, The Grand Canyon including Geology, The Yucatan Peninsula, and The Gulf of Mexico.

Format  (about 3 hours)

 1.     A slide presentation to a large group of students in the auditorium.
 2.     Visit a classroom that is studying the presented subject.
 3.     Sign books bought by the students and teachers.

 The presentation includes a small exhibit of artifacts and usually a live animal.

Many school libraries have made a fair amount of money by having the books available for the students. See sample flyer below.

Books can be purchased from LSU Press and Claitor's at Wholesale Prices. 

 You will need to supply a large screen, a lighted podium with a mike and extension cords. To get the most out of the slide presentation a large dark room with a big screen is necessary.
